AWAKE ALL EDUCATIONIST IN LAGOS STATE.

Our reward they say is in heaven, but who among them is ready to die? Are you ready to die? No! better.
Newly recuited Teachers and non teaching staffs of district two, three and four all in Maryland and district one, five and six in Osodi has been charged to embrace proffesionalities in their field of studies in order to train students.
The question is who among them is ready to train the students when the monthly numeration is not encouraging, yes!an average teacher receive at least 20,000,25,000 per month,is that encouraging?.
Well i hope the Teachers Salaries Scheme,TSS,they are fighting for will see the light of the day. What amaze me most is that teachers don't assist each other despite the forming of National Union Teachers,NUT,which they calm that they fight common interest, far away from it.
Even the Commissioner of Education has her own lapses on her path but she will never aspect that lapses because she herself assume that she is the Alpha and Omega of Education in Lagos State.

After the party

Indeed music is full of life so let it continue to roll like the rolling thunder boat that strikes the whole community. As a matter of desperation, music is love if only one can identify the spirit of love running and roving in ones mind then everything is settled in your own judgment reasoning
The very first day I listen and watch save the last dance I taught if am wrong please correct me am holy enough to behold the burning desire in my hearth by stopping the quest from dancing, but my effort was stylishly abolished from the glance of my sight. Right from the DJ’s stand, the music as been littering the ground which arose to the imagination of the visitor which amounts to the sudden dancing steps displayed by individuals.
Wait a minute when the warming was passed not for the law makers benefits, but for individual benefit ‘don’t drink when driving’ in fact to smoke and drive, these are all for my benefit if only you think so. Oh I fill story for my friend “oh the drunkard” please not client the drunk. After the party my friend was drunkard, he asked me, I believe he’s not normal, but fortunately he himself believe he’s right when asking me the road that links to Ibadan express way when actually he was on the route in Ogba Bus-stop
Can someone brief me the duty of Nigerian Police Force, protection of life and property they say, but that was not the case of the man that was drunked after the party, when they willing stopped the drunked man and collected money and ironically the man was passed to find his route to his destination, is that man safe after the party?
Oh I’m virgin; I even taught that they were referring to virgin Atlantic Airways. No one tells you that she is a virgin until you witness after the party when the music is rolling especially when the light is switch off, then think of what will happen After the party what happen.
There come the visitor, that arrived Nigeria, in the busy street of Agege, Ifako-Ijaiye, Yaba,, oh I forgot the slumming area of Makoko.
Watch out! for the consequences of After the Party

The new face of Ejigbo Local Governmet in process

Measures are in line towards making Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), getting a new look, and making it a tourist centre for observers.

Ejigbo local council development area chairman Mr Kehind Bamigbetun make this known while briefing news hunters during a media tour in every local council development area in Ejigbo.

Mr. Bamigbetun said that the measures in place for the community include the building of new primary schools, customary court, public toilet, canals among these rests of others.

Bamigbetun specifically pointed out that among the constructions going on is the Oke Afa canals and the drainage system. this will be a critical project and ambitious one of this administration due to the fact that the Lagos State intended to bring a ferry services that will begin from international airport and terminate at mile 2 and onward.’ if than it is ensure that there is regular flow of water into the ferry, the flow will be faster with that there will be traffic congestion on the road.

Another reason for the critical involvement of the project is the development of a tourist centre, bomb blast January 27 2002 where innocent soul lost there live, same spot were they buried. Therefore we intend to make it a attractive for tourist purpose.

Bamigbetun noted that the brain behind the construction is to make every resident in that areas reap the dividend of democracy and making fulfillment of his promises.

During the media tour, Engineer Oluyemi Akinsanya narrate how Orile Ejigbo looks like before embarking on the canal project and how his security(gateman)Mallam Alli lost his due to the heavy downpour of rain.

Engineer Akinsanya also complain about the improper cement and low quality of materials used by the contractors, which gave room for Bamigbetun urging the Ejigbo residents to report any contractor using inferior materials, challenging them to be a watchdog because it’s a collective communal project not government or individual project.

Federal Government Verses Societial's Issues.

They don’t even bordered for the youth in the society any longer, they believe that no one on earth could question them about there activities while in power? No wonder they say absolute power corrupts absolutely. Well if only they could think twice deeply then things will walk out smoothly than we ever imagine.
A popular Ajejunle musician (Africa China) sang a song, ”Mr. President” ………Poor man way steal magi, den go show in face for crime fighter(EFCC)…..but Rich man way steal money den no go show in face for crime fighters.(there is no equality of Law in this country, a country where lawlessness parades the streets).
In an interview (GALAXY TV.) with the Senate President David Mark, speaking concerning the ASUU strike, He says” sympathy has been rather to them (Lecturers) by the messes if they don’t cancel the strike then they while loss sympathy from the public”. With such statement I’m totally disappointed in him.
It’s a shame on the Education Minister Mr. Sam Egwu, for not worthy to serve his follower brothers, i.e. educationist (Professors and Lecturers). They are on strike yet he his celebrating his marriage anniversary and birthday party. Is that a true leader? If at all he wants to celebrate his birthday, not at this point of ASSU strike. Imagine almost 120billion naira was spent.
That shows that the strike action only give impression that education is not a priority to the government. Do you now think vision 2020 and Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) will see the realm of the sunlight? With their un-challant attitude toward education in the state.
What are they asking for, that the federal government can’t give, if a senator receive #53.1 million per annual, compare to a university professor #913,857.60 per annual.
Ironically Nigeria teachers are the only country that beg to be fairly rewarded here on earth rather than wait for all the goodies in heaven” how many of them will actually make heaven”.

Nigeria grant Sao Tome US$10 million for Economy issue

President Musa Umaru Yar’Adua requested that the senate president David Mark and other senators should approve US$10 million grant to the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe in addressing their socio-economic problem.

Several crusaders have been embark on as to why the federal government should approve loan at this point of economy meltdown

Meanwhile in an exclusive interview with the Public Relation lecturer of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ Ogba Mr Jide Johnson with Gbemile Oluwatosin

Mr Johnson noted that Nation have to help one another, International cooperation between two nations, business must enhance debt and loan facilitation. What you have must be given to others who do not have. Doing this will help one another socio-economic matters. Nigeria giving loan to Sao Tome and Principe is like giving loan to a bank to run a business. Loans are strings because indirectly you tie ally with such country so also interest could be tied to that loan. Loans must be giving to sub-Saharan regions in other to get profit in return; definitely Nigeria might take precedence in issuing of loan to Sao Tome and Principe. We should not look at it on the face value. Why should Nigeria give out loan to Sao Tome? Many reasons, because it’s for our own.

Johnson noted that economy meltdown as one of those crises that will always occur at every stages of life by analyzing the way a particular country will handle crises at every point in time. Either at the beginning of a decade, century or tail end of a decade and century sighting examples of the Reagan Recession of the 1980’s, in Nigeria we have recession during Shagari’s era, Babangide’s era Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) economic meltdown is cyclical in the sense that business are fluctuating closely in a particular industry that is to say there period of growth, decline and re-introduction. Meltdown or no Meltdown, that does not warrant any country to fold his hand by not investing in any other sectors or rendering assistance to the neighbouring countries.

He noted the implication of Nigeria Government not lending the money is that Nigeria will be successful and others would not be, that is unfair and unjustifiable as Nigeria is regarded as the giant of Africa

However, Nigeria romance with Sao Tome and Prinicipe is strictly economical; there is a joint argument and venture between each other on oil exploration, production and marketing purposes. Therefore the argument is in our favour. The truth is, if Nigeria filed to give them there are many countries that are ready to give, as a matter of fact our major competitor in that country is United State, but we were there before George Bush’s administration refocuses American Energy policy in the Gulf of Guinea

Mr Johnson concluded on the issue by noting that Nigeria must re-invest and take our place in the comity of nations in the 21st century, we have to sacrifice for Africa and still sacrifice because no one should deny us our right of place in Africa and in the world affairs.

Heavy rain,please help.......

Government workers and others in the working class, this morning witness a heavy down pour of rain in Lagos State.

The rain which started in the early hours of this morning stopped with a sign of drizzling.

The rain which generates a mixed feeling from some commuters, market women(traders) and students who spoke to our correspondent noted that whenever the rain starts they hardly gain access to their various place of destination due to the non free flow of rain in the areas.

Some of the areas that were affected like Osodi, Iyana-Ipaja, and Ikeja indeed shows that concerned authorities especially the Local Council Development Area,(LCDA)Chairmen should provide solution to the areas that drainages are not flowing freely.

Message to His Excellence

A Prophet who is not honoured at home and outside his gradualy heading for destruction no matter his effort towards making an entire entity to glory.
This was as a result of the slow pace of President Umaru Musa YarAdua's Administration at a circulated assessment of the two years ruling Nigeria.
His two years of ruling as been regarded as disappointing outcome, Within his two years. He articulated a clear vision of seven points aganda which is slowly coming to an end, has become the butt of joke not seeing the light of the day. Also vision 20-20 which was inherited from the former President Olusegun Obasanjo has not been detailed. National Economy Empowerment Development Strategies(NEEDS), programmes, plans has been dumped.
According to some prominent Politicians who said that President YarAdua does not seem to have one good overarching idea that he relentlessly pursues. Even his "Rule of law idea is not fully understood and respected by his inner circle, his attorney General and family. The administration seems unfocused and in the of a critic, clueless".
Power generation has fallen from 3200MW in May 2007 to less than 1000MW and all inherited power investments put on hold while being endlessly investigated and falsehood propagation to discredit needed investment has been aborted.
Recently, Ghanian Presiodent John Atta Mills announced 15 years tax free for interested businessmen to come and invest, the implication of this is that Ghana economy will boom and it will aloso provide job opporunities for the citizens and other jobless ones. what is happaning to our own President?.

What are we Rebranding, hungry, thief’s.

It’s better to quit when the ovation is loud, than to quit when there is decorum.
This statement would be better if the minister of information and communication, Professor Dora Akunyili could stick to this little piece of advice the Nigerian are chanting towards her image, credible woman presume to be, mama no nonsense. She is not finding it easy to persuade a cynical public to key into her pet program of Rebranding Nigeria.
Recent, cynics find it difficult to believe how Akunyili’s program would be different from others in the past.
Research had shown that even though government’s image laundering project in the past have never achieved the set objective, they only created opportunities for publics officers involved in them to feed fat for public funds.
For instance Regime of Late General Sani Abacha became instant millionaires and billionaires through the project. President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2004 took Nigeria into another round of bottomless expenditure in the name of Nigeria Image Project, later renamed “Heart of Africa Project”. Although the Federal Government is not forthcoming on how much was wasted on the project between 2004-2008 going by media investigation, therefore we presume that several billions of naira had gone down the drain(empty achievement of government).
The minister has admitted, her comment “Actually, what we have in the 2009 budget is Heart of Africa. All we did was to change the name from Heart of Africa to Rebranding Nigeria campaign”.
Through public opinion sampling, we discovered that the Rebrand campaign is a project launched in haste.
What are we really Rebranding, Nigerian, but is there anything to Rebrand when people are yet to avoid three meal in a day, yet politicians(they are fake products) are embezzling money to their pockets
However, what is clear is no matter how beautifully coined, it cannot sell a country positively to the outside world

The death of an hero

In remembrance of June 12, all citizens have been charge to be optimistic in their endeavors so as to achieve the Millennium Development Goal. (MDGs).
This was the report filed from the Deputy Governor, Plateau State Honorable Mrs Pauline Tallen. (OFR) during a seminar to mark the anniversary of JUNE 12 election, organized by the Organization for Christians in Democracy at Ikeja.
The Deputy Governor who was duly represented by the National Chairman on religious matters Rev. John Pofi. He noted that Nigeria was granted full independence in October 1960, as a federation of three regions (northern, western, and eastern) under a constitution for a parliamentary form of government. Under the constitution, each of the three region retained a substantial measure of self governance which actual gave the federal government exclusive power defense and security, foreign relations, and commercial and fiscal policies.
Rev Pofi, said politicians must ensure that they exercise the highest form of responsibility in serving the people who elected them; they must ensure good governance and shun corruption, nepotism.
He said election in Nigeria was described as a way of choosing credible leadership. In 1990 the first stage of partisan election was held at all local government level by gubernatorial and state legislative elections in 1991, turnout was low but violent was not find. However Babangida canceled primaries election scheduled for August and September 1992 due to fraud.
All announced candidates were disqualified, after delayed promises for election in 1990, the government finally held a presidential election on JUNE 12, 1993.In what most observers deemed to be Nigeria’s fairest elections which indicates that the businessman mogul Chief M.K.O Abiola won the election, but on JUNE 23, Babangida used his several pending lawsuits to annul the election put Nigeria into turmoil.
To the surprise of hearing General Babangida gave the reason why he annulled the 1993 election which produced a true democratic leader. He said he was compelled to nullify the election because of security threats to the enthronement of a democratic government at the time.
Babangida made this disclosure on a T.V program, Moments with Mo, anchored by Mo Abudu a broadcast on MNet channel of DSTV. He said the annulment was unfortunate and revealed that he launch a book on the saga soon ( how soon is the soon).
In his own contribution President of the Organisation for Christian for Democracy, Rev Taiwo Ajose urged all Christians to come out in mass and participate in political issues so as to move the nation forward.
